Southernmost Son: A Brody Wahl Adventure

by Wayne Gales

Bric Wahl Mystery #1

“What does a writer do when he’s taken a popular character to the limits? Introduce his son, of course. You’ll find Brody Wahl just as entertaining as that two-fisted rapscallion Russell Bricklin “Bric” Wahl…”
- Byron Rupert McCafferty, Online Critics Corner

This time around, Russell Bricklin Wahl and his son Broderick Russell Wahl spun the Seaglass around and headed toward the Panama Canal in search of an untouched eighteenth-century Spanish Galleon in only forty feet of water. Too good to be true. All they had to do was locate a couple of guys who had found the wreck years ago, then promptly forgot where it was. Before this madcap adventure was over, Brody was married and Bric had been crowned Key West’s Fantasy Fest king. Then Bric disappears and kidnappers are demanding a million dollars for his return. But who’s got that kind of money? Yep, like Brody said, this whole treasure hunt was turning out to be too good to be true!
