I, Human
by Richard Vetere
“Most Whodunit winners are traditional mysteries – locked room, police procedural, cozy, and so on – but this one comes as a sci-fi tale about strange happenings aboard a spaceship headed to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. A fascinating flirtation with reality.”
- Hollis George, noted anthologist and editor
A genetically altered space traveler is awakened by one of the ship’s androids when something goes wrong. Is someone trying to sabotage his mission to populate a far-flung planet? But who could it be? Aside from himself and his beautiful co-pilot and the four obsequious androids, there’s no one else on the Aristotle. It’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not here in the darkness of deep space!
