You have found an old map in a dusty trunk in your uncle’s attic. When you unfold the map, it shows a fabulous treasure hidden in a far-off land. With only your trusty dog by your side, you set out in search of the treasure. You know you will need to keep your wits about you and your eyes open. For things are not what they seem.

That dark shape in the next valley, for instance—is it the Deserted Castle that you see on your map? Or is it something else? If you think you see a castle, turn to page 7. If you think you see something else, turn to page 20. Only you can make the choices that will lead you to your destination—or to defeat!
