A dragon, a sword, a land called Gryylth . . . Suzanne Helling could not figure it out. She had been sitting in the office of
Solomon Braithwaite, a professor of medieval archeology at UCLA. Then the paperweight on his desk grew into a beckoning dragon. “You are needed,” it said to them.
Needed for what? Why would a dragon require the services of an average graduate student and her imperious instructor?

Transported to a land that cannot exist, transformed from
Suzanne and Braithwaite into Alouzon and Dythragor, they are the bearers of the Dragonswords, guardians of Gryylth and defenders of the Circle. They are the Dragonmasters. In their roles as protectors, Dythragor holds no reservations in his destruction of the Dremords, the foes of Gryylth, while Alouzon struggles between a fading dream of reality and a concrete illusion. Desperate to escape their shattered pasts, they confront a fantastic world in which nobody can remember ten years back!
